Wanted

George and his team released six editions of Wanted Magazine in 1989. A tongue in cheek look at the gangster scene of old. Bugsy Malone, Al Capone and Elliot Ness all had their softer counterparts adapted for children.

Wanted featured the comedy capers of the feathered gangsters Owl Capone and Budgie Malone forever pursued by the famous PI Elliot Nest Egg.

The comics were pack full of the sublime illustrations we have come to know and love and the level of detail was exceptional as shown in the page to the right lifted from Elliot Nest Egg’s dossier.
