Meet the Gang...

Here they are, the gang of Liverpool’s very own comic character, Scouse Mouse.

There are many regional puns within the scripts and indeed within the character’s names. For example, Katleen is a play on the fact that the Liverpool accent drops the ‘H’ when pronouncing words, so it would be pronounced ‘Kathleen’. The Owl Girl refers to the pronunciation of ‘old’ as in the Liverpool dictionary and so on.

SCONEDD the boxer. (He's checking out them skyraisins again)... Sconedd, a pear shaped, pugnacious, pumpkin brained, Pugilist pup!..Talking to this dude is like wading through treacle!
CHAZ the chicken (actually modelled on my Brother). He is a perfect example of an eggsagerated ego. This egg was scrambled before it was hatched! The ultimate neurotic ninja nurd.
SPUD the sparrow. The chirpy little apprentice, jester, gifted in rendering his buddies in mute bewilderment with his bouts of philosophic and metaphysical speculations. He is the ultimate, uber, bore!
Katleen is Scouse Mouse's girl friend. A very cute and mischievous moggy, the machismo masher! She's far too shrewd, stern, stuffy and superior for a pint sized mouse with no nous!
The Owl Girl - Scouse mouse's mum. Subtle as an air raid, smooth as anyglypta. She'd make a glass eye cry! Nothing gets past this ultimate street wise Razor sharp momster! "ay! Don't look at me in that tone of voice lid!”
